Unlock LG U400

Unlocking your LG U400 is easy.

Most phones are locked to the original network / service provider (i.e if you buy a LG phone from T-mobile, the phone will probably be locked to only accept simcards from T-mobile).

How to enter the unlock code into an LG U400

1. Enter the original / accepted sim card into the your LG U400.
2. Dial 2945#*88110# into the phone
3. Your LG U400 will then prompt 'Unlock sim' - Press OK.
4. Your LG U400 will then prompt 'Network Unlock' - Press OK.
5. Your LG U400 will then prompt- 'Input Network Control Key'.

Now enter the 8 digit LG U400 unlocking code  and Press OK.
If the unlocking code you have been given is only 7 digits long, add a 0 (Zero) in front of the 7 digit code.  If the unlocking code come with only 6 digits, then add 00 in front of the 6 digit code unlock code.

6. The phone should then display a 'Success' message.
7. Go back to the phones' main screen and dial 2945#*88110#.
8. The phone will then prompt you for the unlock sim -  Press OK.
9. The phone will then prompt you for the Network unlock / Lock. Scroll down and you will see a message asking for the SP Lock.
10. Enter the LG U400 SP Code.
11. Press OK and your LG U400 phone will be unlocked
